With calming lake views from inside the sauna and refreshing plunge opportunities between cycles, this location offers the perfect balance of heat and cool-down. It’s a place to unwind after a day exploring the Keweenaw—or to simply pause and reconnect.

Our mobile sauna has moved to its summer home on the shore of Lake Superior in Eagle Harbor, just steps away from the Fitzgerald’s Hotel and Restaurant.
We'll be offering 75-minute private guided sauna sessions, reserved exclusively for your group of 2 to 6 people (minimum of 2 guests required to book).
Bottled water and electrolytes are included. BYO towel, or they are available to rent.

About Susauna
Takka’s Sauna On Wheels
Our mini mobile sauna, fondly named “Susauna” by our team, is a wood-burning Finnish sauna-on-wheels built by our friends at Cedar + Stone in Duluth, MN. We initially just borrowed her for our Bridgefest 2024 debut in the parade (yes, we had a HOT sauna in the parade!), but afterward, we just couldn’t say goodbye. She held a winter residence at Takka Portage, but who knows where she’ll end up next!
